Happy Birthday to me! Today was my birthday and oh my goodness, I had a lot of fun. I had online parties with my grandparents and a real picnic party with my friends here in Bonn. I am now 2 years old, can you believe it?!? I'm not a baby anymore!

Zio and Zia came
My zia flew all the way from Australia for my party. And my zio came from England too. Here they are with Mama and me. Apparently zio and zia are Mama's brother and sister, but I'm not too sure how that works at this stage.
Jamming with my friends
Here is me with my friends at the party. Julia and Ellie are at the right hand side of the picture and Carolyn is at the bottom. We played music together and then we played pass the parcel. Us young ones weren't too interested in pass the parcel really but we had fun anyway.
Blowing out the candles
Here is me blowing out my candles. When Mama said "let's sing happy birthday" I couldn't wait for everyone else to get organised so I just started singing it to myself. It was pretty windy in the park so Zio had to hold his hands round the candle. But I still blew it out myself. Do you like the cake? Zia and Mama made it. I think they were pretty happy with themselves. I was happy with them too.
Presents
Boy was I lucky. I got to open so many excellent presents. I was interested in them all and wanted to read each book straight away and play with each toy.
Zia's here
Here is me in front of the sign Mama and I made to welcome Zia. We didn't want Zio to feel left out though, so we changed the "a" in Zia to an "o" for when he got here.
Fancy fairy
Zio brought this fancy fairy costume from England for me. He also brought lots of other treats like Bob the Builder pasta (which I love) and a Tweenies dvd and sausage rolls for the party and even ingredients for Mama to make chocolate crackles.

Uncle Hammer
We had a very special visitor last weekend, my Uncle Hammer from Sydney, Australia. He was in Europe on a junket, I mean a very important business trip, and he stopped in to say hello.
I wasn't too sure about him at first but Dada said he was a good friend so I made an effort. By the end I liked him a lot, especially after I taught him to read me my favourite stories and do "cheers" with cups of tea.

Swimming pool
My other news is that over the weekend it got so hot that I even got to use my brand new 3 euro swimming pool. Cool hey? Well, I know it's small and the conditions are kind of cramped there in the hallway, but I had fun!
Of course it's back to wearing jumpers again this week, but I'm sure it will get hot and stay hot soon. Won't it?
