Well it just gets better and better here in Germany. Today is Rosenmontag, it is part of the Karneval festival they celebrate before the beginning of Lent. They have a big parade and guess what? It went down our street! We could see it from our windows but we went down on the street so that we could shout "karmelle, karmelle" (which means lollies, lollies) and the people in the parade threw them at us. I got bonked in the head with a Kinder Surprise egg, but I didn't mind a bit.

What fun Yassie! It reminds me when I was a little girl in The Netherlands we used to have 'Kermis' which was like a fair and we all had lots of fun. People would wear funny costumes sometimes, and everyone was very cheerful!
