Hello, I couldn't resist putting up another photo of the blossoms because Mama and I really are enjoying looking at them every day. I especially like the pink ones. This is the Altstadt (old town) in Bonn, where we live.

Yas and Mama in Alstadt
This is me and Mama just cruising the streets. Don't look too closely, or you will see Mama is wearing orange ugg boots. In public! She is so embarrassing sometimes.

Meet Carolyn
Hello, I wanted to show you a photo of my friend Carolyn. I met her at playgroup and she is lots of fun. She likes to smile and laugh a lot. She just had her first birthday so she is a bit littler than me, but I show her how to do things and she lets me play with her toys in return. She is learning English and German like me.

Spring has sprung
Hey it's Spring time here in Bonn and it is so beautiful. All last week the trees lining my street were covered in blossoms. The petals are mostly blown away now but I liked touching them and feeling how soft they were. Bonn seems so different with this change of season. There are outdoor tables at all the cafes and pubs, and everyone seems to be out on the street with big smiling faces.
At University Park
I love the warmer weather because it means I get to go to the park more. I'm still not sure about playing with the other kids though. Sometimes I like it, but sometimes I don't.

Yasmin Zio and Dada in snow
Hello everyone!
Well I have just spent a wonderful week in Austria with Dada, Mama and my Zio Peter. We stayed in a town called Schladming in the Alps. As you can see, it was really beautiful there.

Yas snowboarding
I really enjoyed the snow this time - I even had a go at snowboarding. I think it might have been a bit easier if we had a board my size though.
Dad and Yas in Salzburg
On the way home we stopped in Salzburg for a couple of nights. It was really pretty there but Mama kept singing funny songs all the time about the hills being alive and stuff. Sometimes she is a bit silly.

Parade
Well it just gets better and better here in Germany. Today is Rosenmontag, it is part of the Karneval festival they celebrate before the beginning of Lent. They have a big parade and guess what? It went down our street! We could see it from our windows but we went down on the street so that we could shout "karmelle, karmelle" (which means lollies, lollies) and the people in the parade threw them at us. I got bonked in the head with a Kinder Surprise egg, but I didn't mind a bit.
Yas and Milan
Here I am watching the parade with my dada and my friend Milan and his dada. I saw lots of funny people dressed up in crazy costumes.
Throwing lollies
You can see here how they throw the lollies out of the floats, and everyone scrambles to catch them.

A trip to Rome with Aunty Barbie
Hello everyone,
Well I was very sad to see my Noni go last week, but luckily for me my Aunty Barbie came to visit the very same day!
Mama and Aunty Barbie and I have just got back from Rome. We had a beautiful holiday and I had lots of fun, even though Mama and Aunty Barbie kept making me stop so they could drink coffee.

Spanish Steps
This is me at the Spanish Steps. I made lots of friends in Rome, especially with all the people who called me bellissima!
Puzzle
We went to the children's museum where they had everything my size! There was a mini post office and a mini tv studio (I pretended to do the weather and saw myself on tv) and a mini supermarket and lots more. I had the best fun with a big puzzle about recycling. Aunty Barbie and Mama helped a bit, but I did most of the work.

Arancini
Off course I loved Italian food. My zia highly recommended the stuffed fried olives and the arancini, and I reckon she knows what she's talking about. They were GOOD.
